For the first time, Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport will be among the destinations for the annual Doors Open Toronto.
On Saturday, May 28, the airport will open its doors to the public as they explore its rich history of providing aviation users and travellers with a convenient gateway between downtown Toronto and the world.
Doors Open Toronto
promises activities for the entire family along the self-guided tour behind the scenes at the airport. Activities include the opportunity for kids of all ages to explore the airport’s state-of-the-art safety vehicles; a visit from Flash, the falcon who plays a role in the airport’s wildlife management program; a historic photography exhibit; as well as various displays hosted by our partners and tenants, including Porter Airlines and Nieuport Aviation.
Billy Bishop Airport will open its doors from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with final entry to the firehall being offered at 4:45 p.m. Bring family and friends to join in the fun!
