Marilyn Bell I Ferry to Undergo Necessary Surface Protection Work Beginning July 11

Toronto (July 7, 2022) – Please be advised that the Marilyn Bell I ferry will be removed from service for approximately three weeks beginning Monday, July 11 in order to complete necessary surface protection work, which will include exterior surface painting and a refreshed car deck.

This work was deferred to summer 2022 back in November 2021 due to below-zero temperatures and high winds that would have prevented the exterior paint from properly curing.

It is anticipated that the Marilyn Bell I will return to service in early August once this work is completed. Ferry service to and from Billy Bishop Airport will be maintained throughout by the David Hornell ferry.
