Toronto (March 1, 2017) – The Ship Channel Bridge will be closed to all foot, bicycle and vehicle traffic from 7:00 p.m. Friday, March 10 to late Sunday night, March 12, in order to conduct important work on behalf of the City of Toronto needed to reinforce one of the bridge’s critical structural components.
 
During the closures, vehicular, bicycle and pedestrian traffic will be diverted via Commissioners Street, Leslie Street and Unwin Avenue, with clear signage indicating the diversion in place.

The bridge will re-open late Sunday night, March 12 and will be fully functional.
