Update: Ship Channel Bridge Will Be Reduced to a Single Lane of Vehicle Traffic between July 21 and August 14

Toronto (July 17, 2020) – In order to accommodate necessary structural steel and sidewalk repairs, the Ship Channel Bridge will be restricted to a single lane of vehicle traffic starting Tuesday, July 21 for an expected duration of three weeks. Work will take place Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. There will be no evening or weekend work.

Throughout this project, one lane of the bridge will remain open to ensure vehicle access. Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained via the east sidewalk during the first stage of work, and will continue via the west sidewalk during the second stage.
