G20 Update

All business units of the Toronto Port Authority are cooperating and working with the various G20 agencies.

Recreational boaters, harbour tour boats and industrial port users will be restricted from Marine Exclusion Areas located in the port and harbour of Toronto from June 24 to 27, 2010. The Marine Exculsion Areas include:
- 300 m around the Westin hotel
- 30 m around the City of Toronto mainland / island ferries and slips
- 50 m around the Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport ferries and slips
- 50 m around the Port of Toronto commerical berthing areas

A Notice to Mariners has been issued regarding restricted access to the HMCS York dockwall.

A Notice to Mariners has also been issued regarding "periodic" restricted access to the Humber River from the foot bridge in the south to the Queensway bridge in the north.

There will be no General Aviation operating out of the Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (BBTCA) on June 26 & 27, 2010. Scheduled commercial flights (Porter Airlines) and MEDEVAC flights (Ornge) will continue operations.

We have been informed by Porter Airlines of their proactive descision to suspend their complimentary shuttle service from BBTCA to the Royal York Hotel from June 21 to 27. Regular shuttle service will resume on Monday, June 28.
