Toronto (August 17, 2017) – Due to the rain, wind and a forecast of lightning in the Toronto area this evening PortsToronto has cancelled the August 17 screening of
Edward Scissorhands for the safety of guests and crew members. The film will now be screened on August 20, 2017.
This year’s Sail-In Cinema movie lineup includes:
- Thursday, August 17: Edward Scissorhands (cancelled)
- Friday, August 18: Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark
- Saturday, August 19: Beauty and the Beast
- Sunday, August 20: Edward Scissorhands (rain date)
Sail-In Cinema offers Torontonians the unique chance to enjoy their favourite movies beneath the stars along Toronto’s waterfront. Viewable by land or boat, the movies are projected onto a floating two-sided, 700-pound, four-storey screen placed atop a barge anchored in Toronto’s Harbour. The free film festival transforms Toronto’s Sugar Beach into an outdoor movie theatre for three nights.
