Bullfrog Power lists TPA as one of Canada’s top green power leaders

Toronto’s waterfront is a special place. It’s the backdrop for the City’s most anticipated festivals and celebrations, the gateway for travellers, and a place to make lasting memories with our friends and families. The Toronto Port Authority (TPA) is responsible for protecting, cleaning and maintaining Toronto’s Harbour and we aim to run all of our operations in a sustainable manner and with minimal environmental impact. One of the ways the TPA reduces our environmental footprint is by choosing 100 per cent green energy from Bullfrog Power.

Bullfrog’s green electricity comes from a blend of wind and low-impact hydro power sourced from new Canadian renewable energy facilities. The TPA is one of Bullfrog’s green power leaders, ranking 7th among the top corporate supporters of clean, green energy in the country. In fact, TPA and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport are the only port authority and airport in Canada to choose renewable energy for all operations and facilities.
