Two (2) geotechnical and environmental in-water boreholes will be bored with two drill rigs on a platform barges for sampling & testing sediment, soil, and bedrock.

June 23 to Oct 30, 2017 Starlight Foundation Permit 2017 The Starlight Foundation operates a recreational vessel called “Motomax” which they provide daytime water trips to clients of the Starlight Foundation (for children with life threatening illnesses). Starlight Foundation helps the kids get out of hospital and into the boat & water to enjoy themselves.
June 30 to July 3, 2017 Water’s Edge Festival + Events / Redpath Waterfront Festival – World’s Largest Rubber Duck Festivals. Location: HTO Park South Dock Wall.
Time: 9:00am to 8:00pm
Community can come and enjoy the World’s Largest Duck Festival.

Community can come watch the 2017 Costal Rowing Regatta.
August 13, 2017 Starlite Pyrotechnics Ltd. Location; South of Palais Royale
Time: 10:45pm to 10:55pm
Fireworks display
Community can come down and enjoy the fireworks display.
August 14, 2017 Performance Solution B/O Radke Film Group Location; North South of  8 Unwin Ave. Toronto
Time: anytime between 6pm to 10:59 pm
Three firework displays will take place off a water taxi during a commercial film shoot.
Community can come down and enjoy the fireworks display.
August 17-20 PortsToronto's Sail-In Cinema Location: Inner Harbour at berth 282, public can view the movie from water side or on land
Time: 6:00 pm to 11:30 pm night and movie starts at dusk 8:00pm
Community can com watch a movie each night projected onto a screen located on a barge 40 meters south from Cherry Beach.
August 19 and 20, 2017 SickKids Foundation – 2017 Toronto Island Triathlon – Swimming portion Location: Toronto Harbour at Hanlan’s Point (Sites 110 and 111)
Time: 8:00am to 11:00am daily
Community can come down and enjoy the fireworks display.
