ADVISORY: NEW AND EXISTING PERMIT HOLDERS
Please note that due to current restrictions on group gatherings, and in respect of physical distancing protocols, the process to obtain a new Powered Vessel Operator’s Permit will be completed by telephone until further notice.
For new permit applications, there will be a five minute discussion about the harbour and a required payment of $30.00 (VISA/Mastercard by telephone only). Applicants will be required to take the in-person test before they renew in 2021.

Fees
Recreational boat operators with engine-powered vessels (whether the engine is the main power or only auxiliary) are required to possess a Powered Vessel Operator’s Permit from the Toronto Port Authority to navigate in the waters of the Port and Harbour of Toronto.
