Navigation Notice Added to Registry

To satisfy requirements under the Canadian Navigable Waters Act, the Toronto Port Authority has added information about its Runway End Safety Areas construction project to the Common Project Search Registry, available online at http://cps.canada.ca/ under File Number 2011-400199, stating:

Proposed infill works to construct Runway End Safety Areas (RESAs); including landmass expansion using clean granular fill and construction of armour stone revetements with associated shoreline protection features within established Marine Exclusion Zone, in Lake Ontario, at the east and west ends of Runway 08/26 at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport; Part of Western Entrance of the Western Channel and Toronto Harbour, designated as Parts 1 and 2, Plan 66R28881, City of Toronto, Province of Ontario, at approximately  43° 37′ 56.96″ North and 79° 23′ 38.04″ West.
