Statement from Toronto Port Authority on application filed by the Information Commissioner

Today the Toronto Port Authority (TPA) received a copy of the application filed by the Information Commissioner of Canada in the Federal Court seeking review of TPA’s application of exemptions under the Access to Information Act. The application pertains only to the minutes of the Audit and Finance Committee meeting for December 23, 2008, which had been released in a redacted form. No other documents or audited expense reports are part of this court proceeding. The TPA expects to respond to the application within the next 10 days.
